I'm easily amused.

Trying to find this one set of random generators that I saw once and wish I'd held on to... There were a heck of a lot of categories, and one of them was generating a way to get yourself out of a stalled story. One of the random answers was "What this story needs is an alien invasion.".

It's not Seventh Sanctum. Nor is it Springhole.net. However, the Mutate-O-Matic there is funny.

The radioactive material hits you. You notice that you start to resemble a humanoid cat. You observe that you start to resemble a humanoid dragon. Just when you think nothing is going to happen, you realize that your eyes are becoming more insect-like.

You swallow the pills. At that moment, you observe that your hands are becoming more dragon-like and you discover that you have fish-like abilities.

The ray hits you and you realize that your arms are becoming more wolf-like. The next thing you know, you begin to shrink noticeably shorter. You realize that you are growing a set of tentacles and realize a pair of antlers.

You rapidly swallow the pills and you observe that your feet are becoming more eagle-like. Just as you leave the room, you begin to shrink down to 15 inches tall.

You swallow the bottle's contents and you observe that you have wolf-like abilities. You discover that you have parrot-like abilities and you realize that you slowly begin to glow and you realize that your limbs begin to shrink down to 3 inches tall.

You're minding your own business. You discover that your hair begins to quickly turn dark pink. Immediately, you realize that your hands are becoming more jellyfish-like and you notice that your hair is quickly turning green.

You gulp down the pill. You begin to grow to half again your original height. You begin to grow to twice your original height. You realize that your hair begins to rapidly turn light brown.

You quickly swallow the bottle's contents. You realize that you have cat-like abilities. You observe that you have eagle-like abilities. You notice that you begin to feel really sick.

The ray hits you. You notice that your hair begins to rapidly grow really long. The next thing you know, you observe that you are growing a set of tusks and observe a set of tusks. Just when you think nothing is going to happen, you notice that fur grows from your skin.

Without warning a sinister zookeeper arrives and starts to hit on the person you mentioned briefly in chapter 2.
Without warning your protagonist's mother serves dinner.
