I spend enough time online, I'm really surprised that I'm not techy.  Too much fascinated clicking, I expect.  TVTropes.  Also fanfiction.  *cough stormtroopersarecool cough*

Let's try this again.

Links.  Seriously.  Why can't I seem to get them up?  Them and LJ cuts.  Mystery of the universe.  I'm using Rich Text and there is an icon that taunts me, reading "Insert/Edit Link" when I mouse over it.  Click, and I get a little pop-up box that I can paste a link into.  But when I hit "okay", nada.  Even if I've highlighted something.

Annoying.  Oh.  Wait.

.... Yeah, I am an idiot.  Should have figured out "cut the http part out after pasting".  Well, the more you know...

The link just goes to that "Eggs!  Click to hatch!" thing that I saw on summerjackal's LJ while I was browsing Baxil's flist.  I know that thing's been around for a good while, Internet-time, but I've never tried it before.

I suddenly don't feel like abusing this should-have-been-obvious ability.  Much.

So I'll wrap up my pointless little ramble to say that I adore the video game "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic".  And I don't care if Canon has decreed Revan to be Light Side Male, Romancing Bastila, With Boring And Overly Angsty Origins.  I'm still going to stick her into Xanadu and draw her in Paint.  With a mouse.  Looking ridiculously vulnerable.  And using that "split face" trick, with the other side Unreadable.

Very much so.  I'm going to sleep.  Assuming I can.  Thursday night is supposedly Party Night here at the dorm, and people are stupid.

As a note, I'm in a physical fitness.  Part of testing is "Hey, run a mile so we can see how long it takes!  Then run it again at semester's end so we can see what's changed!"

On the positive side- we ran indoors on a track, for it is cold outside.  The first time was outside and very warm.  Also, the first time I ran a timed mile I was just about ready to die and spitting the fibrous mucous that had replaced my saliva.  This time, I was tired but good.

On the negative side:  Everyone beat me this time.  Everyone.  Except the overweight boy who said he was in high school football, but he doesn't count - even I ran circles around him.  And for the first few laps, he was ahead of me too.  My time is actually longer this time around.  Marginally.  I got eleven minutes.  Last time was ten fifty eight.  The fastest guy got five thirty two.  Guardian!

I've been treadmilling a mile twice a week almost every week, but apparently I only have two speeds.  Five point five mph steady and constant, and sprinting.  Bleh.
