Today was the last day of school.
Well, last half-day, anyway.
Huh.
I'm a senior now.
This is the beginning of my final schoolbreak summer. After this...
Yikes.
Will I be ready?
Probably not.
I shouldn't worry about it. Instead, I ought to devote this summer to writing fanfiction, learning to drive, and probably getting a job.
Meh.
LJ-luv, you may have noticed that I suffer from chronic overuse of the "Enter" key. What can I say? I hate condensed paragraph blocks, so I try to chop them up. Adds a bit more emphasis, too.
My family will be traveling, of course. My dad's a Northwest Airlines pilot. Flights within the continental US don't cost aught, unless we try for business class. The downside is that we can only take seats if, after every customer's booked, there are still some left empty.
They like to travel. I... don't.
There was this time, about two years back, when we went to visit relatives in China over Spring Break... ugh.
Anyway, we will be traveling. Of that, I have been assured. There will be a Camping Trip. I am not happy about that.
At times, like travel-times, I think it wouldn't be so bad to be Out On My Own. The rest of the time... not so much. That trip to China scarred me... I've reverted to that stage of childhood where the fear of abandonment is never far from my mind...
So yeah. It's summer. I wish it wasn't That Time Of Month and I could go swimming.
