Now I need to find another one. Grr. The Dragon Cave only sets out new eggs at the start of each hour- and enough people traffic the site that they keep being claimed before I get there. Well, I got Basalt. Maybe I'll get lucky later on.
EDIT: Yay! Glowy green egg. It was "sitting in a pile of small pebbles". Basalt's egg was "rough and heavy, as if made of stone". I wonder what this will hatch into.
I just finished my last Public Speaking class. It is stressful. I was trembling. But my topic this time was the evolutionary link between dinosaurs and birds, and I've always been interested in that, so it was easier this time. I should have done dinosaurs before this...
I'm going to put some links here. Because I can, damnit!
The 501st is interesting. Enough so that I wrote a Xanadu story for a couple of them. Xanadu is a story universe where at a fair-sized - 10 K people or so - scifi/fantasy convention, everyone spontaenously transforms into their costumes. I like writing in that universe...
You Are Dumb is an angry rant site. The writer is extremely left and liberal, and more and more I find that I agree with what he says, although there are points I don't really think are that rantworthy. Still, it can be fun to read. Even if he swears a lot.
