Fourth Entry
The pineal gland is a pea-sized brain bit in humans. It is strangely eyelike in certain species, having photoreceptor cells.
In some species it practicaly IS an eye, with retina and lens. Sometimes it even gets light and serves as time-giver in biological clocks.
That is... weird.
